Na podstawkę nałożyłem kalkomanie, które samemu wykonałem i zabezpieczyłem je z wierzchu lakierem.

2’ie miejsce dla X-Wing’a/ 2nd place for X-Wing

X-Wing został zgłoszony przeze mnie do konkursu Sci-Fi: Around the Galaxy Mk II na forum modelarskim Galaxy Kit’s. Zajął w nim drugie miejsce, zdobywając tym samym nagrodę w postaci Voucher'a na zakupy w sklepie Moje Hobby , który został wykorzystany na zakup BTR-70. X-wing przypadł do gustu również forumowemu koledze Mr.Dyzio, który ufundował jedną z nagród w tym konkursie, a mianowicie Dark Star Nebula Battleship. Na zakończenie chciałbym podziękować wszystkim, którzy głosowali na mój model oraz Marcinowi S. (Mr.Dyzio) za dodatkową nagrodę.
I’ve entered X-Wing online contest Sci- Around the Galaxy Mk II on modeling forum Galaxy Kit's. It managed to get second place and getting award which was Voucher for shopping at Moje Hobby which was used to get BTR-70. X-Wing was also noticed by Mr.Dyzio, who sponsored one of the prizes in this competition, namely the Dark Star Nebula Battleship. I would like to thank everyone who voted for my model and Martin S. (Mr.Dyzio) for the additional prize.

Prace nad podstawką ruszyły do przodu. Zamontowałem na stałe mostek i wypełniłem szpary przy nim. Zapoczątkowałem malowanie podłoża i dodawanie roślinności, zaczynając od mchu.
Work on the base moved forward a bit. I’ve mounted the bridge and filled the cracks by him. I gradually began to paint surface and I’ve started adding vegetation, beginning with the moss.

Za wyjątkiem przedniej szybki, pojazd jest już całkowicie złożony. Pozostało do wykonania drobne brudzenie wieńczące prace.
The ship is almost put together except to the front leans. It only needs some weathering and it will be ready.

Red 2 - X-Wing - 1/48

Model docelowo będzie stanowić część dioramy z ataku na Gwiazdę Śmierci, więc musiałem zmienić go na Red 2, co wymagało nie tylko korekty oznaczeń, ale również skrócenia dysz wylotowych od silników. Na dioramie będzie znajdował się także Red 5, w którym wykorzystane zostały kalkomanie z zestawu. Oznaczenia wykonałem samodzielnie z użyciem specyfików AK-Interactive (Worn Effect i Heavy Chipping). Kolejną niezbędną zmianą było zamiana robota R2-D2 (niebieski) na R2-D1 (czerwony). W kokpicie dodałem kilka przewodów oraz przyciemniłem owiewkę, żeby jak najbardziej przypominała tę z filmu. Po pomalowaniu modelu i przybrudzeniu, wymaskowałem i pomalowałem na czysty biały kolor górną lewą osłonę silnika.

Because this kit is planned for a diorama with another X-wing I’ve changed this one in to the RED 2. That of course forced me to change some things. I needed to change the markings and because the other kit was made with decals from the set I decided to paint my and for the damage on them I used AK-Interactiv’s Worn Effect and Heavy Chipping fluids.
I also needed to change the engine nozzles for shorter ones and I’ve repainted the droid for R2-D1 (red version). Inside the cockpit I added some hoses so it would look more like in the movie. As for the canopy I wanted it to like in the movie shots from the inside which clearly showed it was tined and for that I used Tamiya’s Smoke paint. Last thing was making the damage and weathering to look as similar as in the movie.

X-wing - Fine Molds - 1/48

Niedawno skończyłem model X-Winga z firmy Fine Molds w skali 1:48.

Najpierw jednak chciałem pokazać kilka zdjęć z procesu budowy.

Recently I've finished X-Wing from Fine Molds companie in 1:48 scale.

But first I wanted to show some WIP pictures.

SMA BSC 2012 Sci-Fi – 3

Wszystkie części modelu wraz z podstawką zostały pomalowane podkładem samochodowym, a następnie czarnym błyszczącym lakierem samochodowym. Po wyschnięciu model pomalowałem farbami Metalizerami Model Mastera Stainless Steel, Gun Metal i Exhaust.
All parts of the model along with the stand were painted with automotive primer and then painted gloss black automotive paint. After paint dried I painted it with Model Master Metalizers: Stainless Steel, Gun Metal and Exhaust.

Jeszcze jeden kolor i statek będzie gotowy do złożenia oraz dalszych prac.
One more color and the ship will be ready for assembly and further work.
