Just before Christmas I have received a package from Hobby Zone. Inside I found those goodies.
Główną zawartością paczki był stojak do malowania aerografem. Montaż stojaka rozpocząłem od wklejenia bocznych ścianek dolnej części.
Maine content was airbrush station. I have began the assembly from the side walls and the base.
A następnie tylne ścianki.
Next I have added the rear walls.
Kolejnym etapem było przyklejenie górnej płyty.
Then top came along.
Z pozostałych elementów składamy szufladę.
With the remaining elements are for a drawer.

This is how the assembled station looks like.
Posiada on okrągły stolik obrotowy, który pozwala na obracanie malowanych elementów bez ich dotykania. Tylna jak i boczna ściana są demontowane, co pozwala na złożenie stojaka po malowaniu by zajmował mniej miejsca jak nie jest używany. Boczne ściany można zamieniać miejscami, co pozwala na mocowanie uchwytu na aerograf zarówno po lewej jak i prawej stronie. Jest to duże udogodnienie dla osób leworęcznych lub po prostu tych, którzy mają inaczej zorganizowany warsztat. Uchwyt jest uniwersalny i może utrzymać wiele rodzajów aerografów. Ja testowałem 5 różnej budowy i wszystkie się dobrze i stabilnie trzymały.
It has round plate that is turn able and it allows to turn painted elements without touching them. Back and side walls are detachable. Which allows us to disassembled the station after painting. So that it takes less space when it is not being used. It is also possible to switch the side walls which allows to put the airbrush hanger either on left or right side. This is a great solution which allows comfortable use no matter if you are right or left handed. Airbrush hanger is universal and it can hold many types of airbrushes. I have tried 5 different ones and all of them rested stable on it.

Jak widać na zdjęciu górna płyta posiada otwory, w które można włożyć patyczki do mocowania malowanych elementów lub specjalistycznych krokodylków np. firmy Mr. Hobby. W wersji finalnej stojak dolna płyta będzie miał zagłębienia w miejscach otworów, co pozwoli na jeszcze stabilniejsze umocowanie elementów.
As you can see on the picture the top panel has holes. They allow us to put painting clips in them just like the ones offered by Mr. Hobby company. Final version of the airbrush station has small depressions in the bottom panel. This will allow paint clips to be more stable.
Po kilku kolejnych etapach malowania pod czas, których testowałem stojak, utwierdziłem się w odczuciach, że jest to super sprzęt. Dodatkowo szuflada znajdująca się miedzy pod spodem pozwala na składowanie elementów do aerografu lub potrzebnych narzędzi przy malowaniu. Jej gabaryty pozwalają na przechowywanie wkładek (gąbek lub pianek) z pudełek od aerografów. To pozwala na schowanie aerografu po malowaniu do szuflady i dzięki temu mamy go zawsze pod ręką. Sprawdzałem dopasowanie trzech wkładów z pudełek i wszystkie pasowały. W zestawie mamy też dwie przegródki, które pozwalają na podzielenie szuflady i składowanie wielu innych elementów razem.
After several painting sessions I Just ensured myself that this is a great piece of equipment. Additional drawer allows us to store tools that we use during paint or parts for the airbrush. Size of the drawer allow to put inside the inner parts of the airbrush boxes (foam or sponge). Thanks to that you have all the parts for the airbrush at hand. Also we can store the airbrush inside after painting. I tried three different foams from different airbrushes and all of them fitted inside. There are two spacers in the set which we can glue in any position we want to divide different parts or elements from each other.
Po mimo faktu, że stojak ten nie posiada żadnego wyciągu to pozwala on na bezpieczne malowanie bez zanieczyszczania stolika „zakurzem”. Pozwala to na łatwe utrzymanie naszego warsztatu w czystości. Dodatkowo mocowanie na aerograf pozwala nam na jego odłożenie w trakcie pracy, a dzięki szufladzie wszystkie niezbędne narzędzia do malowania mamy pod ręką. Kolejnym bardzo pożytecznym elementem jest obrotowy blat pozwalający nam na obracanie malowanych elementów bez ryzyka uszkodzenia świeżo nałożonej powłoki lakierniczej.
All thou the station does not have any extraction for the air it allows for safe painting without any overspray at our workbench. It helps with keeping the bench clean. Airbrush holder allows us to hang the airbrush safely during the painting sessions and thanks to the drawer we have all the necessary parts and tools at hand. Turntable is also great addition as it allows us to turn painting elements without touching them. This minimizes the risk of damaging the painted parts during the painting sessions.
Już wiem, że będzie to niezastąpiony element mojego warsztatu i śmiało mogę go polecić wszystkim modelarzom, którzy korzystają z aerografu.
I know that this station will be a great addition to my workbench and I can honestly recommend to all modelers that use airbrush.
