Oto kolejny dodatek do mojej kolekcji. Tym razem jest to model z nowej serii Battle Star Galactica i przedstawia on Cylon skiego Raider a w skali 1/32. Wypuszczony on został przez firmę Moebius Models i skalą odpowiada wypuszczonym przez nich wcześniej Viper om Mk. II i MK. VII.
Here's another addition to my collection. This time it is a model of the new series Battle Star Galactica and it’s Cylon Raider in 1/32 scale. It was released by Moebius Models and scale corresponds to their pre released Viper Mk. II and MK. VII.
Instrukcja jest dość prosta, ale cały proces składania jest dobrze opisany przy pomocy tekstów i rysunków.
The instructions are pretty simple, but the whole building process is well described in text and drawings.
Sam zestaw składa się czterech ramek szarego plastiku i jednej przezroczystego. W zestawie znajduje się podstawka dla modelu z przezroczystego plastiku składająca się z 2 części, natomiast sam model składamy z 24 części z szarego plastiku i 3 części przezroczystych.
The set consists of four frames of gray plastic and one clear. Included is a base for the model from transparent plastic composed of two parts.
Model itself consists of 24 parts in gray plastic and 3 parts transparent.

W zestawie nie znajdziemy też żadnych kalkomanii. Sam model posiada wypukłe oznaczenia Cylon ów i jest możliwości ich zeszlifowania i zastąpienia dostępnymi w sprzedaży kalkomaniami. Jest to jednak kwestia sporna, gdyż w serialu nie widać, by oznaczenia w ogóle były na tych pojazdach, natomiast jeśli są widoczne, to wszystko wskazuje na to, że są lekko wypukłe i są w kolorze reszty pojazdu, a nie jak w pierwszej serii BSG czy grze - zielone, tak jak dostępne kalkomanie.
The model is nicely molded and judging by his appearance there should not be any problems with assembly and needs large amounts of filler. Thanks to the transparent elements it is possible to highlight the model, but the set does not contain any lights and you would have to prepare it yourself.
Model jest ciekawy i dość prosty do zrobienia. Śmiało polecam go fanom BSG jak i innym osobom, które chcą spróbować czegoś innego i wzbogacić swoją kolekcje o tą ciekawą pozycje.
The model is interesting and fairly simple to do. I do recommend it to any BSG fans as well as other modelers who want to try something different and expand their collections with the interesting item.
